Many businesses use FOMO as one of their great selling tools by showing their customers what other customers are buying, or doing with their products, having a limited quantity of a specific high demand or best selling products creating a visually attractive proof of other clients happiness with their products, or proof that the number of remaining items is decreasing which may lead that you consider either buying this product or have the idea planted in your brains to buy it in the very near future so that you have the same joyful experience.
Overdoing it can create consumer resentment, while doing too little is not likely to be effective. If executed properly, FOMO in marketing can create excitement and anticipation, and cause consumers to take action, helping you grow your brand, increase sales, and boost profitability.
